ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Kevin Brenner, head coach of the Elmira College men's soccer team, is pleased to announce that the Soaring Eagles will hold their 2018 Alumni Weekend on Friday, September 7, and Saturday, September 8.
 
Festivities begin on Friday afternoon when the alumni will be welcomed to interact with the current players at a practice session at 4:00 p.m. on Campus Field. On Saturday, the former EC student-athletes will square off in a friendly competition at 10:00 a.m. at the Murray Athletic Center, which will be followed by brunch.
 
Upon returning to Campus Field on Saturday afternoon, alumni will enjoy a pregame BBQ before watching the Purple and Gold take on Ithaca College in a non-league match at 3:00 p.m. The day-long activities conclude with a postgame reception at Green Derby, located at 113 West 2nd Street in downtown Elmira.
 
In addition to the contests and grub, alumni will be provided with a Nike t-shirt, while team gear and old jerseys will be available for purchase.
