Women’s Soccer Falls to Keuka in Tuesday Night Tilt

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. -- The Elmira College women's soccer team put up a good fight under the lights at the Jephson Complex on Tuesday night, but was unable to find its rhythm on offense, as Keuka College marched away with a 3-0 non-conference victory. With the win, Keuka improves to 10-3-0 on the year, while the Soaring Eagles drop to 2-10-0.

The Wolves of Keuka held a 21-2 advantage in shots, as well as a 9-0 lead in shots on goal. Corner-kick chances also finished in favor of Keuka, 8-0.

Emily McGuigan gave Keuka its first lead of the contest in the 30th minute, a goal that held up through the end of the first half. Elmira's back line weathered the storm for the most part, but the Wolves eventually broke through for two additional strikes in the 57th and 86th minutes on goals from Grace Wolfe and Karoline Williams, respectively.

Elmira's starting goalkeeper, Ally Knorr-Anderson '23, made six saves in a full 90 minutes of action.
