Women’s Lacrosse Drops Non-League Bout to Keuka

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. -- Keuka College topped the Elmira College women's lacrosse team, 21-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon at the Jephson Complex, located in Keuka Park, New York.
 
The Wolves of Keuka outshot Elmira, 42-3, and held a 33-3 advantage in shots on goal. Keuka logged 21 draw controls compared to Elmira's three and held a 30-16 lead in ground balls.
 
Elmira's lone goal of the contest came from rookie Mikayla Carfello '22, who netted her third of the season with 7:56 remaining in regulation. Tina O'Donnell '20 was credited with an assist, the first of her collegiate career, on the Carfello tally.
 
Kacie Pierce '21 started in net for the Soaring Eagles and finished with six saves in 30 minutes of action. Krystyna Lilland '21 came in for relief duty in the second half and also made six saves.
