HOBOKEN, N.J. -- The Elmira College men's lacrosse team fell to the No. 11-ranked Ducks of Stevens Institute of Technology on the road on Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 19-1.
The Ducks' high-powered offense proved too much for the Purple and Gold, as Stevens sent 32 shots on target against EC's
Jacob Mattice '21. The second-year goalkeeper posted 13 saves in net.
Rookie
Sam Shaw '22 scored his 21st goal of the season to get the Soaring Eagles on the board, but that was all the offense EC was able to find against the Ducks. Elmira forced Stevens into 18 turnovers, but the Purple and Gold were unable to capitalize against Stevens' defense.
