BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Elmira College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon against the Mavericks of Medaille College. Despite a combined 29 shots (18 on net), neither team was able to find the back of the frame after 110 minutes of play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The match played evenly through the first 45 minutes of play as the Soaring Eagles and Mavericks went for 6 and 5 shots respectively. The Purple & Gold did a good job of putting shots on net, with five in the first half to test Mavs' keeper Jessica Tyrrell.
Between the second half and overtime, Elmira put together an additional 12 shots, with
Rachel Bortnick '25 adding seven to her stat line, a career-high.
Nevaeh Winston '25 made 10 saves in goal for the Soaring Eagles, increasing her season total to 129, and her sixth game in double figures.
