KEUKA PARK, N.Y. -- The Elmira College women's soccer team allowed three second-half goals as the Soaring Eagles dropped an Empire 8 contest against Keuka College, 4-1, on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Wolves would break a scoreless contest in the 41st minute of action as Elena Paolini took a feed from Carli Zollo. The Soaring Eagles registered one shot on goal in the first half as
Sarah Wagner '24 would be denied by Keuka goalkeeper Sam Pelcher.
Keuka added a pair of goals early in the second half to extend its lead to 3-0 as Lindsey Garbacz and Kara Rieger found the back of the net in the 54th and 67th minutes.
Adrianna Cornell '22 would convert on a penalty kick opportunity for the Purple & Gold in the 69th minute to trim the deficit to 3-1. The Wolves closed the scoring with a tally in the 74th minute of action.
Nevaeh Winston '25 finished with five saves in goal for Elmira, while Cornell tallied a pair of shots in the contest for the Soaring Eagles.
Sienna Fell '25 also added a shot on goal for the Purple & Gold.
