PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Elmira College Women's Basketball team dropped its Saturday matchup to the Cardinals of St. John Fisher College, 116-23. The Soaring Eagles would be tested by the Cardinal defense, as Elmira was unable to score more than 8 points in a quarter for the contest.
The story of the game would be turnovers, as the Cardinals forced the visitors into 31 while turning it over just 13 times themselves which led to a 43-6 advantage in points off turnovers. Nevaeh Winston '25 led Elmira in points with six, while Desiree Roy '25 chipped in five points.
