PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The third-ranked Elmira College women's ice hockey program skated to a 7-0 victory against host Plymouth State on Friday evening. Seven different Soaring Eagles notched a goal in the win as Elmira remained undefeated in NEHC play.
Mary McCafferty '22 was credited with the game-winner, scoring on an assist from Eliza Beaudin '22 at the midway point in the opening period.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Elmira scored the opening goal at the 10:06 mark as McCafferty scored on an assist from Beaudin. The goal would be credited as the game-winner. As play continued, Leonie Kuehberger '25 would be credited with five saves in the period, while Panther goaltender Amelia Julian would make 13 saves as EC carried a 1-0 lead into the break.
In the second, Holley Riva '23 would score at the 10:45 mark to put the Soaring Eagles ahead 2-0 on assists from Erika Goleniak '25 and Katie Manning '25. Just three minutes later, Goleniak joined the scoring on assists from McCafferty & Riva. That would conclude the second-period scoring as Elmira carried a 3-0 lead into the final intermission.
In the third, Morgan Mordini '22 would score at the 2:22 mark, assisted by McKenzie Schmidt '25 to increase the Purple and Gold lead to four. From there, Kelly Millins '23, Sydney Harris '21, and Claire Elfring '25 would all score to send Elmira away with a 7-0 victory.
On the final three goals, Jenny Heath '22 (two), Jenna Ellis '24, Mordini, Schmidt, and Millins each recorded assists.
Kuehberger finished the game with 10 saves in total.
