WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The Elmira College field hockey team kicked off its season with a trip to Williamsport to take on the Lycoming Warriors on Friday afternoon at Keiper Stadium. The Warriors would come away with the win with a final score of 11-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lycoming got off to an early lead thanks to a goal in the fifth minute.
- Lycoming would score its next three in five minutes to start the second quarter, with two more coming in the final few minutes of the quarter.
- The Warriors scored twice in the third quarter before adding two more in the final period of the match.
- Forward Caitlin Ehlenfield '27 registered Elmira's first shot in the third quarter.
- Goalkeeper MeganRae Burke '24 set a career high 26 saves.
- Reese Bowen '27 collected her first career save.
