Nicole Luther '28 recorded her second goal for the Elmira College field hockey program as the Soaring Eagles dropped a 10-1 decision at home on Saturday against St. John Fisher University in Empire 8 Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Cardinals scored the first three goals of the contest, as St. John Fisher opened the scoring just 1:20 into the first quarter.
- Elmira looked to capitalize off four consecutive penalty corners as Madison Fleming '27 fired a shot that would be stopped by the Cardinals' goalkeeper before Talia Nash '28 had her scoring opportunity stopped by the Fisher defense.
- Nicole Luther '28 found the back of the cage for the second time this season at the 4:31 mark of the first quarter to trim the deficit to 3-1.
- St. John Fisher added four more goals in the second quarter to take a 7-1 advantage into the half.
- The Cardinals tallied one goal in the third quarter and two more in the final frame to round out their scoring to make it 10-1.
- Peyton DeMaio '28 added a pair of defensive saves for the Purple & Gold to push her season total to 13, while Elmira goalkeeper Reese Bowen '27 finished the contest with 14 saves.
