OSWEGO, N.Y. – A 45th minute goal for Oswego State was all the offense the Oswego State Lakers could muster against the Soaring Eagles defense and goalkeeper Juan Carlos Cruz Gandia '27. Unfortunately, EC was held scoreless the entire game, keeping the sheet clean for the Lakers.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
HaJoon Lee's goal right before halftime was all the offense the Lakers needed.

Elmira got plenty of shots off, totalling 11 shots on target and 23 shots attempts. Mohamed Koroma '25, Ole Esselmann '28, and Selvin Maldonado '25 all ripped multiple shots on target for the Soaring Eagles.

Soaring Eagles' goalkeeper Cruz Gandia stopped seven of the eight shots he faced in the match.

In a rematch of last years' Empire 8 Championship, the Cardinals play host to the Soaring Eagles having gone unbeaten at home since 2010. The Soaring Eagles will look to get Coach McIntyre his first win with the program.
