HaJoon Lee's goal right before halftime was all the offense the Lakers needed.
Elmira got plenty of shots off, totalling 11 shots on target and 23 shots attempts.

Selvin Maldonado '25 all ripped multiple shots on target for the Soaring Eagles.
Soaring Eagles' goalkeeper Cruz Gandia stopped seven of the eight shots he faced in the match.

In a rematch of last years' Empire 8 Championship, the Cardinals play host to the Soaring Eagles having gone unbeaten at home since 2010. The Soaring Eagles will look to get Coach McIntyre his first win with the program.
