ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College tallied a pair of goals in each of the first three quarters en route to a 7-0 victory on Friday night against the Elmira College field hockey program on the University of Albany campus.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Gators scored two in the opening 10 minutes of the contest to jump out to a 2-0 advantage against the Soaring Eagles. Sage would add two more goals in the 19th and 22nd minutes of the second quarter to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.
- Sage opened the second half with a goal less than a minute into the third quarter to make it 5-0 and would later add another tally in the 44th minute to make it 6-0. The Gators closed the scoring with a goal in the 57th minute of action.
- Elmira finished with shots on goal in the contest from Madison Fleming '27, Nicole Luther '28, Caitlin Ehlenfield '27, and Jessica Yesensky '26. EC goalkeeper Reese Bowen '27 recorded two saves in the contest, while the Soaring Eagles earned three penalty corners.
UP NEXT: The Soaring Eagles are set to host the Oswego State Lakers at Campus Field on Wednesday beginning at 4:00 P.M. The matchup will serve as Elmira's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game.
