ALFRED, NY – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles hit the road on Friday night to visit the Saxons of Alfred University. The Soaring Eagles lost the game, 68-50.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Tyler Cardello '26 paced the Soaring Eagles with 13 points, while
JJ Babcock '26 (10) also finished in double figures for EC.
Chris Woodard '28 pulled down nine rebounds, leading the team, and only one short of a season- and career-high.
The Purple & Gold finished with five assists, with Babcock dishing out three of them. Cardello and
Owen Evans '26, playing in his second back from injury, combined for the two others.
It was a tough night shooting for EC, as the team went 17-54 from the field, and couldn't get any of their 10 shots from beyond the arc to fall.

The Soaring Eagles will stay on the road and visit the Highlanders of Houghton tomorrow, Saturday, January 11. Opening tip between EC and the Highlanders will arrive at 4:00 PM.
