BOSTON, MA – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles suffered a heart-breaking loss on Friday night in Boston against the Beacons of UMASS Boston. A last-second goal put EC on the wrong end of a 2-1 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Bailey Krawczyk '24 opened the scoring for the Soaring Eagles, tying the game at one goal apiece early in the third period. Shane Haviland '24 and Seth Ferguson '28 picked up assists on Krawczyk's third goal of the year. The captain now has two goals and an assist in his last four games.
Brody Hanes '26 finished with a staggering 42 saves in the game, a new season high for the junior from York, Pa.
Tyler Bost finished with 38 in the blue for UMASS Boston, earning the win for the Beacons.
Chance Goman '24 was dominant in the faceoff circle for EC, winning 14 of 21 draws, good for 66.7%.
Eric Bertelsen '28 led the Soaring Eagles with seven shots on goal.
