PINE VALLEY, NY – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles, in front of countless alumni for Athletics Alumni Weekend, began their back to back with a 3-2 overtime win at home against the Seahawks of Salve Regina.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
A scoreless first period led to the Seahawks breaking the tie in the second period.
Midway through the period, Eric Bertelsen '28 evened the score at one. Fellow freshmen Cam Lowe '28 and Lucas Stevenson '28 got assists on Bertelsen's fourth of the season.
With three minutes to play in the middle frame, Chance Gorman '24 wired a one-timer home on the power play. Shane Haviland '24 and Cole Tucker '25 picked up assists on Gorman's power-play tally.
A late goal from the Seahawks sent the game to overtime where Ryan Reifler '24 flipped a puck at the net from an angle the goalie couldn't handle and bounced in. Gorman and Lowe picked up assists as the trio on the ice.
Kyle Curtin '26 finished with 27 saves and Selby Warren turned away 25 at the other end.
