Field Hockey Defeated by Hartwick on Wednesday

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Elmira College field hockey team traveled to Hartwick College on Wednesday in an Empire 8 game. The Soaring Eagles dropped a 6-0 decision against the Hawks.

  • The Hawks jumped out to a 1-0 first period lead and then added two goals in the second and three goals in the third for the win.
  • Elmira goalkeeper Angelina Caban '26 recorded seven saves in the contest.
  • Hartwick held the edge in penalty corners, 11-2.
  • Elmira was outshot 22-2, with one EC shot finding the target.
  • Madison Fleming '27 and Caitlin Ehlenfield '27 had Elmira's shots.
