GENESEO, N.Y. – The Elmira College women's volleyball team dropped an Empire 8 matchup on the road Friday evening, falling in straight sets to SUNY Geneseo inside Carl Schrader Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Soaring Eagles were led offensively by Morgan Sica '28, who tallied a team-high five kills, while Madalyn Devonshire '29 chipped in three. Erin Bracken '28 and Alyson Hagberg '26 each handed out five assists, and Gabriela Rodriguez '26 led the back row with a team-leading five digs. Aimee Bridges '29 finished her evening with three block assists and a kill, while Vicki Titus '28 tallied two service aces to pace the Soaring Eagles at the line.
Geneseo's efficient attack proved to be the difference, as the Knights hit .299 as a team compared to Elmira's -.097.
The Knights were paced by Sydney Leigh-Manuell, who registered eight kills on a .467 hitting clip, while setter Molly McKinney dished out 10 assists and added a pair of service aces.
