ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Elmira College women's volleyball team wrapped up its weekend Empire 8 road trip on Saturday afternoon, falling in straight sets to a nationally receiving votes team in St. John Fisher.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Soaring Eagles battled against one of the conference's top offensive teams, as the Cardinals posted a .483 hitting percentage across three sets. Elmira showed flashes of strong defensive effort, highlighted by 10 digs from Gabriela Rodriguez '26 and four from Vicki Titus '28.
- Offensively, Aimee Bridges '29 led the way for Elmira with a team-best three kills to go along with four points, while Morgan Sica '28 and Gabriella Rustine '26 each added a kill apiece. Erin Bracken '28 paced the setting unit with four assists, while Alyson Hagberg '26 chipped in one.
- St. John Fisher was led by Ana Gutman and Kaylene Noble, who each tallied eight kills and combined for just two errors. The Cardinals also recorded 14 service aces and 29 digs.
