Soaring Eagles Drop Mid-Week Empire 8 Matchup to Keuka College

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Elmira college women's volleyball team dropped a mid-week Empire 8 road match, falling in straight sets to Keuka College inside JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Soaring Eagles went head-to-head against the Wolves, who posted a .281 hitting percentage across three sets. Elmira's Gabriela Rodriguez '26 and Cloe VanFleet '28 both recorded 11 digs apiece. 
  • Offensively, Morgan Sica '28 led the way for Elmira with a team-best seven kills paired with three digs while Madalyn Devonshire '29 tallied four kills of her own. Erin Bracken '28 paced the setting unit with 12 assists followed by Alyson Hagberg '26 with six.
  • Keuka was led by Nina Scott who recorded 12 kills followed by Rosslan Force with eight kills. The Wolves notched nine service aces and 47 digs in the match.
UP NEXT:
Elmira returns home to the Speidel Gymnasium for another Empire 8 matchup against Russell Sage College. The match is slated for 6:00 PM.
