ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elmira College men's wrestling team traveled to Elizabethtown, PA to compete in the Blue Jay Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Devin Strothers competed in the 133-weight class and posted a 1-2 record on the day. His lone victory came against Marquez Thomas from Albright College, pinning him at the 1:50 mark.
• John Robyck competed in the 285 bout and posted a 1-2 record on the day. His lone victory came against Nick Aldino from Cortland State where he marked a 6-1 decision victory.
• Patrick Stauring and Victor Hyland represented the Soaring Eagles in the 149-weight class.
• Kaiden Ellis represented the Soaring Eagles in the 157-weight class.
• Cache Littrell represented the Soaring Eagles in the 165-weight class.
• Rhojan Monfort represented the Soaring Eagles in the 184-weight class.
• Nicholas Lopez represented the Soaring Eagles in the 285-weight class.

UP NEXT: The Soaring Eagles return to Speidel Gymnasium to host Misericordia in a non-conference dual on Wednesday, January 7.
