NORWICH, VT – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles ended their final road trip of the regular season with a 6-2 loss at the hands of the Norwich University Cadets. The Cadets swept EC and outscored it 11-4 over the weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Elmira got on the board first, thanks to a goal from Chance Gorman '24 3:46 into the game. Nathan Young '25 and Ryan Reifler '24 picked up assists on the graduate student's goal.

Later in the period, the Cadets rallied for two goals in the span of 3:19, going ahead 2-1 into the first intermission.

Elmira tied the game 7:18 into the second frame with a goal from Reifler. Gorman picked up a helper on his winger's tally.

From there, Norwich closed out the period with three more goals, sending the Soaring Eagles into the second break down 5-2.

Another Cadet goal early in the third period resulted in the 6-2 final.

Brody Haynes '26 took the loss for EC. He turned away 15 of 20 shots he faced before being relieved by Cameron Manley '28. Manley took over late in the second and finished with seven saves on eight shots. Sami Molu denied 23 of 25 shots from EC.

EC is back home for the first time since Feb. 1 this weekend, ending the season with a back-to-back against Vermont State Castleton. Friday's opening puck drop is slated for 7:00 P.M.
