ELMIRA, NY – Heading into her first year as the head coach of the Elmira College Women's Lacrosse team, Cassidy Prather has released her team's schedule this afternoon. Elmira's return to collegiate lacrosse action this spring will mark the end of a four-year absence. The Soaring Eagles will host five home games while hitting the road for another five, bringing their season total to 10 games.

Prather and the Soaring Eagles will officially make their return to college lacrosse on Wednesday, Feb. 26 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, as they take on the Monarchs of King's College. This matchup will be the first time in just under a decade that these programs will meet. Both programs have beaten the other once in their two all-time contests. 

To continue their season opening four-game road trip, the Soaring Eagles will next visit the Lakers of Oswego State. Opening faceoff for EC and Oswego will come at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1. 

To close out its season opening road-trip, EC will visit St. Vincent on Wednesday, March 12, with the opening draw slated to arrive at 6:00 p.m.

Elmira College will open up its home schedule with a matchup against the SUNY Poly Wildcats on Saturday, March 15. Prather's Soaring Eagles will become the first women's lacrosse team in Elmira College history to play on the new Campus Field. The season's first home game will begin at 3:00 p.m.

The Soaring Eagles will then hit the road on Tuesday, March 15 at Keuka. The Wolves and Soaring Eagles will open play at 4:00 p.m.

EC's final home weekday match is set for Friday, March 28 as the Soaring Eagles will host the Saxons of Alfred University. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. 

A final road game against Alfred State has been penciled in for Tuesday, April 1 at 5:00 p.m. 

The finale of the 2025 campaign is slated for Saturday, April 5, against Cedar Crest College. The Saturday matinee will begin at noon and close out the Soaring Eagles' regular season schedule.
