HENNIKER, NH – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles began their four-game road swing with a 4-2 loss to the New England College Pilgrims on Friday night at Lee Clement Arena in Henniker, NH.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Jack Herron got the Pilgrims on the board first, just 3:19 into the opening frame.
Joel Pavey '25 notched a power-play goal with just under five minutes to play in the first, tying the game at one goal apiece.
Owen Halloran '28 picked up an assist on the senior's second marker of the season.
Wyatt Andres broke the tie in the second period for the Pilgrims, making it 2-1 Pilgrims with 16:29 to play in the middle stanza. A power-play goal for NEC put it ahead 3-1 going into the second intermission.
Another goal on the power play for the Pilgrims made it a 4-1 game with 8:36 to go.
Chance Gorman '24 netted a power-play goal for Elmira with 2:30 remaining, but it wasn't enough to spark a true comeback, leaving the Soaring Eagles to fall 4-2 on the road.
Cam Lowe '28 notched an assist on Gorman's goal.
Kyle Curtin '26 finished with 22 saves on 26 shots while Anthony Beaulieu turned away 25 of 27 for the Pilgrims.
