HENNIKER, NH – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles finished their weekend road trip in New Hampshire with a 2-1 loss to the NEC Pilgrims on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
A Shane Haviland '24 power-play goal at the 6:44 mark of the first period was all the offense the Soaring Eagles could gather in the contest. Chance Gorman '24 and Cam Lowe '28 each picked up an assist on Haviland's tally.
The Pilgrims answered with a power-play goal of their own in the dying minutes of the first period via Egor Osipik.
The score remained 1-1 until midway through the third when Gunnar Sibley found the back of the net while the Pilgrims were short handed.
The 2-1 score held and the Soaring Eagles came away with an empty weekend.
Brody Haynes '26 denied 31 of 33 shots he faced while Anthony Beaulieu finished with 22 saves on 23 shots, once again beating EC.
