ELMIRA, NY – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles hosted the Brewers of Vassar College on Friday night, dropping the contest in straight sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Jordan Peiser '24 (six), Luke Jata '27 (five), and Paten Buckwalter '28 (four) led the team in kills in the losing effort.

Peiser finished the match with a pair of service aces good for the team lead. Jata and Max Cohen '25 each registered one, the only other aces for EC in the match.

Elmira got a pair of blocks from Peiser, and Buckwalter each. Dylan Vargas '27 also denied an attack from the Brewers.

Max Cohen '25 picked up 18 assists, leading the match. Connor Barton '27 and Jata each picked up a pair of helpers.

Cohen (six), Peiser (five), and Ethan Davenport '28 (four) led the team in digs.

EC will participate in the Rutgers (Newark) Invitational next Saturday, Mar. 15 in Newark, NJ. The Soaring Eagles' first match is slated for 2:00 PM against Drew University.
