DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Elmira College Dance team competed in the Division III Hip Hop preliminary round on Friday at the 2025 NCA & NDA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Soaring Eagles performed at the Ocean Center Hall at 9:30 a.m.
After making their first appearance at nationals last year, the Soaring Eagles returned for their second shot at showcasing their routine on the national stage and competed against fellow DIII programs, including Alma College, Bridgewater State, Kean University, New York University, and RPI.
Elmira compiled a raw score of 56.56 with no point deductions following its performance and received an event score of 80.8. The Soaring Eagles placed sixth following scoring, as the top-four programs (Alma, RPI, NYU, and Kean) advanced to Saturday's Hip Hop Division III finals.
