ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Elmira College dance team competed locally in the East Coast Dance Challenge amongst 300 other acts. 

The Soaring Eagles were seen receiving 'A Platinum Adjudication' for both the hip-hop and open categories with scores of 293.9 and 293.3 out of 300. EC also went on to receive an exclusive judges award, 'Innovation in Dance' and 'A Stand Out Award' for an invitation to attend Nationals. 

EC was seen placing first and second overall in their respective categories.
