ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Soaring Eagles rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the second half with a pair of goals 43 seconds apart to tie the visiting Bryant & Stratton Bobcats of Rochester in a non-conference matchup Wednesday night.
Mark Weitzel '29 cut the deficit in half and
Jose Navea Corporan '27 completed the rally in the 71st minute, while Elmira Goalkeeper
Terry Ladas '28 registered seven saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats scored twice in the second half less than four minutes apart to stake Bryant & Stratton to a 2-0 lead.
- Weitzel found a loose ball deep in the Bobcats' end and capitalized for Elmira's first goal.
- Navea Corporan found the top left corner of the net with his left foot from 10 feet outside the box to tie the score.
- The Soaring Eagles finished with five corners to the Bobcats' six.
- Bryant & Stratton held the edge in shots 17-8 with nine Bobcat shots finding the target.
- Horacio Vicioso '26 registered his first point of the season with an assist on the tying goal.
- Hernan Arenas '28 led Elmira in shots with two of Elmira's eight with both finding the target.
