ELMIRA, N.Y. – Elmira College men's soccer midfielder Jose Navea Corporan '27 has been named the Empire 8 Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the conference.
 
Corporan tallied three goals on the week as he helped the Elmira College men's soccer team go 1-0-1 with a 2-1 victory on Saturday against SUNY Poly. Corporan scored the equalizer in the 71st minute of a 2-2 tie against Bryant & Stratton on Wednesday. He followed with two goals in the 12th and 19th minutes on Saturday against SUNY Poly.
 
In just two games this season, Corporan has accumulated six points and is tied for the team lead with three goals.
