ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca got all of its goals in the second half for a 3-0 win over Elmira on Wednesday. Two of the Bombers' three goals came from penalty kicks in a tight defensive game that saw both teams combine for six shots on net.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ithaca's Jack Carney got the game-winning goal in the fourth minute of the second half.
- In the 65-th minute the Bombers connected on the first of two penalty kicks in a span of about 10 minutes to seal the win.
- Daniel Mercedes '27 and Jhoan Chavez '26 had the Elmira shots on goal.
- Each team recorded three corners.
- Ithaca held the edge in shots 15-8 with four of those finding the target.
- All of Elmira's all-time wins against Ithaca have come by one goal except a match that was played 46 years ago to the day in 1979 when the Soaring Eagles won 5-1.
