ELMIRA, NY – The Elmira Women's Soccer team fell 6-0 to Penn College at Campus Field on a rain-soaked Senior Day on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both teams went back-and-forth for the first 17 minutes before Penn College capitalized on a corner from Ashley Gordon in the 18th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Wildcats doubled their lead in the 23rd minute when Brooke Klinger found Megan Kurian in the middle of the box. Kurian was able to rocket a one-touch shot into the lower right corner of the net for a 2-0 lead.
- The Soaring Eagles were able to maintain the pressure the Wildcats put on for the rest of the first half and the game went into halftime with Penn College leading 2-0.
- The Wildcats opened the scoring 10 minutes into the second half with Klinger scoring her first goal of the game on an assist Makayla Bucks, to extend their lead to 3-0.
- Penn College scored three more unanswered goals in the final 35 minutes to secure a 6-0 victory.
- Emma Whalen recorded six saves for the Soaring Eagles.
- Rhyan Lewis, Haylee Babar and Zoe Ranieri made their collegiate debuts this afternoon.
