ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Soaring Eagles women's lacrosse team honor four seniors in Friday's faceoff against the Keuka College Wolves. Despite Elmira's efforts, they fell 12-4.

The Wolves attacked early, scoring their first goal in just under a minute into the game. From there, Keuka College was able to net three more goals before
Jenna Forrest put Elmira College on the board with her first collegiate goal. Just a minute later,
Kelsey Stewart was able to grab a goal of her own to bring the score to 4-2, closing out the first period.
Picking up right where she left off, Stewart was able to score the opening goal in the second period to bring the Soaring Eagles within one. But the Wolves were able to net three unanswered goals heading into the halftime with a 7-3 advantage.
Keuka College dominated the third period, scoring three times on six shot attempts to open up the second half until Stewart was able to score her third goal of the game just before the buzzer went off to signal the last period. Despite the Soaring Eagles attempts, Keuka was able to add two more safety goals to secure the win.

The Soaring Eagles travel to Utica, NY to face SUNY Polytechnic Institute on Saturday, March 14th. Game time is slated for 12:00 PM.
