Elmira College Athletics

2012 Season
In her final season with the Soaring Eagles Matson had a great year playing in all 36 matches registering 259 kills, 80 total blocks, 17 digs and 10 assists. She was the third leading scorer for EC during the season and led the team in blocks. She ranks fourth on the all-time lists for assisted blocks in her career (153) and tied for fourth for assisted blocks in a season (61). She recorded a career high of 16 kills twice during the season. However, her best performances came during the ECAC Postseason Tournament where she recorded 31 kills, four digs and 11 total blocks.  

2011 Season
Appeared in all 36 matches in her first season in the Purple and Gold recording 150 kills, 73 blocks, 25 digs and eight assists. She helped EC reach the Empire 8 Championship match with 5 kills, three solo blocks, four block assists and a dig in a 3-2 win November 5^th against St. John Fisher.
