Empire 8 President's List (Fall 2019, Spring 2020)

2020 Season
Made four appearances, including one start, during the shortened 2020 season...Struck out six in 9.2 innings of work...Began the season with four strikeouts and three earned runs allowed in 4.2 innings against Bates (2/17)...Closed a 10-1 victory over Castleton (2/22) with one unearned run allowed and one punch out in the bottom of the ninth...Pitched both halves of a doubleheader at York (Pa.) (3/8), totaling 4.0 frames and one strikeout against the Spartans.

2019 Season
Produced career-highs in appearances (12), innings (24.1), strikeouts (14), and wins (2) during his junior season...Began the year with 3.0 scoreless innings in a doubleheader sweep of Greensboro (2/18) and received his first career win with 2.0 hitless frames in the nightcap...Struck out three in 2.0 innings at Rochester (3/15)...Tied a season-high with four strikeouts in back-to-back games vs. St. John Fisher (4/24) and SUNY Canton (4/29)...Against the Roos, he twirled a career-high 5.0 scoreless innings and earned the win in a 4-3 victory.

2018 Season
Logged 11.1 innings and an 0-1 record and seven strikeouts in nine relief appearances as a sophomore...Did not allow a run in his season debut against York (Pa.) and posted a season-best two strikeouts....Allowed just one earned run in 2.2 innings against Utica (3/31)...Recorded a season-long 3.0 innings against No. 10 SUNY Cortland (4/14), allowing one earned run on three hits with one strikeout.

2017 Season
Appeared in 10 games as a freshman, which included two starts…Ended the year with a 9.45 ERA and eight strikeouts in 20.0 innings pitched…Struck out one opposing batter and allowed zero runs in 1.0 inning in his first collegiate game against Methodist (2/24)…Tossed 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball in a 21-14 triumph over Alfred State (4/18)… Hurled a season-high 4.0 innings in a bout against No. 15 St. John Fisher (4/26).

Before Elmira
Named an OHSL Liberty Conference First-Team All-Star as a senior...Was crowned the league Pitcher of the Year during his junior season...Helped Westhill High School win a Section III Championship and a third-place finish in the New York State Tournament in 2015.

Personal
Corey graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing a master's in Management.
