Evan Kee returns to the Elmira College coaching staff for his second season as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.
 
Kee, a 2012 graduate of Hampton University, served as the men’s basketball team manager for his first three years at Hampton until becoming the Christopher Newport University Student Assistant Men’s Basketball coach his fourth year.  During his time at Christopher Newport University, Kee recruited highly sought after players on the East Coast, prepared scouting reports for upcoming opponents, and conducted skill development drills for over 20 players among other responsibilities. He also helped lead the team to a USA South Conference and Tournament Championship, a top 25 national ranking, and a bid in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament. 
 
After graduating from Hampton University, Kee served as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Marymount University.  During his time at Marymount, Kee was responsible for recruiting, directing a day-camp, coordinating the film exchange program. And conducting high level drills for over 20 players.
 
Kee has also been a camp counselor at the Coach Wooten’s Basketball Camp, where he coached, officiated, and organized fundamental basketball drills for kids ranging from 6-17 years of age.  Kee is also a member of the Black Coaches Association.
 
Kee is pursuing a Master’s Degree in General Education at Elmira College.
