Jessica Imhof returns to the Elmira College coaching staff for her second season as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach in 2014-15.

Imhof, a 2012 graduate of The College of New Jersey, was a four-year member of the Lions’ women’s basketball team. She helped lead her team to a NCAA Final Four appearance in 2009 and an end-of-season ranking of third that year. Imhof was named captain in her final season and earned first-team all-conference honors from the New Jersey Athletic Conference for her play during the 2011-2012 season.

Imhof left her mark in The College of New Jersey record books as she ended her career in the top 20 in several statistical categories. She was first all-time in single-season free-throw percentage, fifth in most free throws made in a season, 11th in most career steals, and 18th in most points scored in a season.

In addition to her impressive playing career, Imhof has spent the last year on the bench of The College of New Jersey’s women’s basketball team, serving as an assistant coach to her alma mater. As an assistant coach, Imhof was responsible for collaborating with the head coach on decisions during games, the recruitment of players, film breakdown, game preparation, and designing workouts for the guards on the team.

Imhof is pursuing a Master’s Degree in General Education at Elmira College.
