Bobbie Eastman

Bobbie Eastman enters her second season as the assistant women’s volleyball coach at Elmira College during the 2019-20 academic year.

A 2018 graduate of Quincy University an NCAA Division II institution located in Quincy, Illinois, Eastman was a four-year member of the Hawks’ women’s volleyball team. Eastman featured primarily as a middle blocker before taking on a role as a right side during her junior and senior seasons.  The Fenton, Michigan, native, helped Quincy improve its win total each season from 2014-2016. As a junior, Eastman helped the Hawks break a four-year Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) playoff drought. The 6-foot 3-inch powerhouse posted career-highs in blocks (76.0), blocks per set (0.71) and sets played (109). She wrapped up her career in with 461 kills and 180 blocks after posting a career-high 206 kills as a senior in 2017.

Eastman brings prior coaching experience to Elmira after serving as the head coach of the Quincy Elite Volleyball Club in 2017, working with girls ages 14-16. In 2013 and 2014, she acted as the head coach of the Southern Lakes Parks and Recreation 12-13 year old girls volleyball team.

Eastman graduated from Quincy in the spring of 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Business. She is currently pursuing a master’s in Management from Elmira College.
