Lundgren had a tremendous start to her collegiate career as she took third place in the Alfred State Invitational and helped EC to a third place finish in the first meet in program history. Lundgren finished the 4,000-meter course with a time of 18:51.20, coming in 15 seconds before the fourth place finisher.
 
Lundgren and the women's cross country team will be back in action next weekend when EC travels to Rochester, NY to run in the University of Rochester Invitational on Saturday, September 13th. The race is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m.
