Ross had a career night for the Soaring Eagles, helping the women's volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Empire 8 foe, Alfred University. Ross, who normally dresses as EC's libero, started at outside hitter and did not disappoint, recording a career-high 16 kills on a .375 hitting percentage. She added two service aces while also recording two assists. Ross did not neglect her defensive responsibilities, picking up nine digs against the Saxons.Â
Ross and the women's volleyball team return to action on Tuesday, October 14th when Elmira hosts the Pennsylvania College of Technology for a 7:00 p.m. match. Â Tuesday's match will be Elmira's home finale of the 2014 season.Â
