Heiman had a career day during the Empire 8 Tri-Match on Saturday, helping EC to a 1-1 record. In the opening match against Nazareth College, Heiman recorded 10 kills on a .318 hitting percentage, as well as four total blocks, one solo and three assists. Elmira would fall to the Golden Flyers in four sets, but rebounded to take down Hartwick College in a five-set thriller. Against the Hawks, Heiman was very active as she had 49 attack attempts. She tied her career-high with 17 kills while also totaling five blocks, one solo and four assists.Â

Heiman and the women's volleyball team return to action on Wednesday, October 8th when they host Alfred University for an Empire 8 Conference match. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. in Speidel Gymnasium.
