Over the last 12 seasons, Elmira has gone 4-8 in Empire 8 Conference opening games. EC's most recent conference opening win dates back to the 2007-08 season when Elmira downed Hartwick College, 63-54.  However, in the last 12 seasons, Elmira has opened Empire 8 Conference play against Nazareth two times, splitting wins with the Golden Flyers with EC's victory occuring in the 2005-06 season.

This is the New Year
With 2013 in the rear view mirror, Elmira will look to begin 2014 on a high note as they eye their third straight victory in New Year games.  Over the last 12 seasons, Elmira has gone 7-5 in the first games of the New Year.

Zoltowski Moves into Second Place
With 25 points in Elmira's win over Clarkson University, Jessica Zoltowski '14 took sole possession of second place on Elmira College's all-time scoring list. With a career total of 1,211 points, Zoltowski becomes just the third player in EC history to score 1,200 points.

EC vs. Nazareth
Elmira will be looking to snap a three game skid against the Golden Flyers of Nazareth College.  EC's last win against Nazareth dates back to the 2011-12 season when the Purple and Gold marched away with a three point road victory. Nazareth holds a 38-18 edge in the all-time series.

EC vs. St. John Fisher
Elmira is in search of their second straight victory against the Cardinals after EC picked up a four-point win in their final meeting of the 2012-13 season. The Cardinals hold a 48-12 advantage in the all-time series, but things have been much more even as of late with the two teams trading wins over the last four games.
