Who Gets the Start?Coach Moore has the difficult decision of choosing who will get the starting nod to play goalie for this afternoon's game. Captain
Austin Mansell '16 got the start in EC's season opener and made six saves against King's College. There is also the option of
Kevin Huggins '16 who started against SUNY Cortland and came up with seven saves. Finally, Elmira's third option in net is
Jordan Dougherty '16, who saw the most minutes of any of the three keepers last season but has yet to play in 2014.
Series HistoryThere is not much of a history between EC and Oneonta State as last year's game was the first between the two teams in both program's history. In last year's inaugural meeting, the Red Dragons of Oneonta State earned a 4-0 victory.
Last Time OutThe Red Dragons of Oneonta State enter today's contest with an unblemished 3-0 record. Oneonta's most recent victory came in the form of a 4-0 shutout win against Babson College. Additionally, Oneonta is off to their best start since the 2009 season when the Red Dragons opened the year with five straight wins.
Keep an Eye on No. 18Dylan Williams leads the Red Dragons in points with six off of three goals. Williams is currently on a three-game scoring streak as he has registered a goal in each of Oneonta's games thus far.
