Men's Ice Hockey – Elmira Falls to No. 7/8 Utica at home, Nazareth on the Road
The early-season woes continued for Elmira, which suffered a pair of losses to nationally-ranked Utica and Nazareth over the weekend. In the home contest with the Pioneers, Brent Lafayette '19 scored EC's lone goal in a 7-1 loss. On Saturday against Nazareth, it appeared as though freshman Nick Ford '20 had tied the game at 1-1 in the third period, but the score was waived off due to major and game misconduct penalties for contact to the head prior to the possession. Naz would tally on the ensuing power play to secure a 2-0 win on its home ice.
