ELMIRA, N.Y. -- The Elmira College women's basketball team welcomes St. John Fisher College to Speidel Gymnasium for an Empire 8 Conference bout on Tuesday, January 31st. The Soaring Eagles and the Cardinals are scheduled to take flight at 6:00 p.m.

  • The New Milford, Connecticut, product scored a season-high 17 points to go along with a career-high nine assists.
  • After Saturday's performance, Heaton passed Utica College's Ashelyne Babb for first place in the conference with 4.5 assists per game.
  • The 5-foot-4-inch guard became the first Soaring Eagle to dish out nine assists since Marcia Coakley '09 did so on February 6, 2009, against Utica College.
  • Her nine assists against the Hawks are also the second most an E8 player has recorded in a game this season, only behind Babb's 10 against Hartwick on January 5th.
  • With 17 points against the Hawks, Heaton extended her streak of double-digit point games to nine straight, which includes all eight Empire 8 conference matchups.
