ELMIRA, N.Y. -- After clinching the fourth seed in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Tournament on Saturday night, the Elmira College men's ice hockey team is preparing to host Nazareth in the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, February 25, at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets will be sold in the main lobby of the Murray Athletic Center, located at 170 Huck Finn Road in Horseheads, New York, beginning at 6:00 p.m. the night of the game; prices are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for senior citizens and students with ID. Elmira College students with a valid ID and children under 12 will receive free admission.

With 39 conference points, the Soaring Eagles (17-7-1, 13-5-0 UCHC) earned the No. 4 seed and will face-off against fifth-seeded Nazareth (11-11-3, 8-9-1 UCHC) in the opening round of the playoffs. EC swept the regular-season series with the Golden Flyers during the 2019-20 campaign, which included a 5-2 win on the road, and most recently, a 2-1 overtime triumph at the MAC on February 8.
The winner of the quarterfinal advances to the semifinal round and will travel to either No. 1-seeded Utica (21-2-2, 15-2-1 UCHC) or second-seeded Wilkes (18-7-0, 14-4-0 UCHC) this weekend for a two-game series.
