ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Elmira College Women's Volleyball dropped their Friday evening matchup, 3-0, at the hands of the Hawks from Hartwick College. The Soaring Eagles were downed in straight sets (25-13, 25-12, 25-13) while being led by
Amelia Martin '23 and
Sam Sprague '22, who each accounted for five kills in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Hawks hit at an astonishing .667% in the first set, as the home squad accounted for 16 kills and no errors in the frame. Despite cooling off each set, the Hawks finished the game with a .367 hitting percentage.
For the Soaring Eagles, it was 21 kills for the match compared to 36 for the hosts, while
Asia Curkendall '25 led the way in assists with ten, while
Maddie Hampton '24 recorded 13 digs on the night.
