HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cardinals got out in front at the 29 minute mark when Matt Gentile scored on an assist from Riley Rease. EC would test the St. John Fisher goalie three times in the final 12 minutes of the half but the Cardinal keeper was able to save each attempt.
After half, Fisher won a corner kick in the 57th minute and were able to double their lead on a goal from Jackson Bishop, assisted by Stephen Guidi. In the 70th minute Elmira would make its strongest threat of the game over a two minute stretch that saw it win its only corner of the game and rip off three shot attempts. Senior

Nicholas Zanger '23 put the third Soaring Eagle attempt wide.
