ONEONTA, NY. – Elmira men's soccer picked up another conference win on Wednesday evening as it beat Hartwick 1-0. The EC goal came courtesy of Mohamed Koroma '25, who scored on the break in the 59th minute.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Elmira's first chance at goal came on a Matt Crichton '27 effort, which he put wide. Juan Ortegon '27 had Elmira's first shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match.
- Neither team could find the opener, and both went into the break scoreless.
- The breakthrough came just under 14 minutes into the second half. Konstantinos Triantafillou '27 played the long pass for the Soaring Eagles, finding Koroma on the counter, who beat the goalkeeper and put Elmira up 1-0.
- That proved to be the game-winner for EC as it saw out another Empire 8 victory.
- Jose Navea Corporan '27 led Elmira with three shots in the match, two of which tested the Hartwick goalkeeper.
- Asher Ellis '25 kept the clean sheet for the Soaring Eagles, stopping two Hawk attempts during the contest.
