Darius Green '24 highlighted the day for the Elmira College men's wrestling program at the Electric City Duals hosted by the University of Scranton on Sunday. Green went 4-0 at heavyweight, tallying three falls and one major decision victory for the Soaring Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In its dual against New Jersey City University, the Soaring Eagles received individual victories from Bryan Stafford '26 at 174 pounds and Kahajen Smith '25 at heavyweight. Stafford notched a 13-2 major decision, while Smith won via forfeit for the Purple & Gold.
- The Soaring Eagles held a late lead in their dual against Keystone following a forfeit victory by Stafford at 174 pounds. Hollis Berry '25 recorded the first win of the dual for Elmira with a fall at 157 pounds. Garrett Roskelly '27 followed with his first dual victory for the Soaring Eagles with a fall at 165 pounds. Green closed the dual with an 18-4 major decision victory at heavyweight.
- Green would be the lone EC wrestler to record points against Oneonta as he closed out the match with a pin against Kennith Jackson.
- Berry tallied the first points for the Soaring Eagles against the Scranton "A" squad with a fall at 157 pounds, while Green once again closed the dual with a fall at heavyweight against Scranton's Sean Cordaro.
- Blake O'Brien '24 notched his first victory of the day for the Soaring Eagles against the Scranton "B" Squad with a tech fall at 141 pounds. The Soaring Eagles would also get victories via fall from Berry, Stafford, and Green before ultimately dropping a 35-23 decision.
