WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The Elmira College men's wrestling program traveled to Pennsylvania for a trio of dual matches on Saturday hosted by Penn College. The Soaring Eagles would go 0-3 on the day despite having several individual victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the first dual matchup of the day for the Soaring Eagles,
Blake O'Brien '24 notched a 9-1 major decision victory wrestling against Keystone College at 149 pounds. The Soaring Eagles would get a victory from
Bryan Stafford '26 via forfeit at 184 pounds and closed the dual with a victory at 285 pounds as
Darius Green '24 recorded a 5-0 decision.
Keystone would benefit from four forfeit victories in the dual as its lone contested win would come at 174 pounds as Codi Bomboy pinned Elmira's
Hollis Berry '25 at the 6:27 mark with Berry wrestling up a weight class.
O'Brien would open the second dual as well for the Soaring Eagles wrestling at 149 pounds. Dan Lilley from Thaddeus Stevens would be victorious over O'Brien via fall at the 1:13 mark. Berry rebounded for the Soaring Eagles as he would again compete at 174 pounds and delivered a pin in just 57 seconds to notch a win.
Stafford saw his first action of the day wrestling at 184 pounds for the Soaring Eagles and notched an 8-6 victory via decision over Chance Hawkins, while
Chris Powell '25 competed at 285 pounds and would deliver a pin at the 2:54 mark to close the match for the Soaring Eagles.
The final dual of the day would see Elmira face Penn College as O'Brien opened the match at 141 pounds and would be pinned at the 2:31 mark. The next contested bout would see Berry compete at 174 pounds, where he would be pinned by Zach Miller at the 2:16 mark.
Stafford wrestled at 197 pounds in his final bout of the day for Elmira and would be pinned in a time of 2:49 by the Wildcats' Gabriel Kennedy-Citeroni. Green closed the day for Elmira with another victory wrestling at 285 pounds as he would notch a fall in a time of 2:04 against Billy Bumbarger.
